Bacon Glazed Brussels Sprouts

Brussels Sprouts have recently made a comeback into people's kitchens and even as a staple in many restaurants. Everyone has their own unique style and this is our take on it by added K&T chili oil and savory bacon to add that extra flavor!

Recipe courtesy of Joe C.

Ingredients

(Serves 6-8 people as a side dish)

1 lb brussel sprouts

1/2 lb bacon, diced

1/2 red onion, thinly sliced

3 cloves garlic, roughly chopped

K&T chili oil, OG

salt & pepper to taste

Directions

Step 1

Heat wok or frying pan on medium-high heat. Add bacon. Once bacon is almost fully cooked, add red onion and garlic. Stir until onion begins to caramelize.

Step 2

Add Brussels sprouts and continue to stir. Sprinkle salt and pepper to your preferred taste.

Step 3

As Brussels sprouts begin to cook through, they will become more vibrant in color and start browning (usually about 5-6 minutes is standard cook time on high heat).

Step 4

Stir in one to two tablespoons of the OG chili oil and allow mixture to simmer for a few more minutes until fully cooked.

Step 5

Top with additional OG or Thai Spice chili oil ;)
